About Us

Cat, Duck and Bear Limited is a name created by the director. The director loves cats, so it was only fitting for the cat on the logo to be modelled on the her own cat. One of the director’s friends bought her a giant yellow rubber duck as a birthday present. Finally when the she was very, very young, an aunt knitted a golden coloured bear, which she still has, even though it has gone through many years love and affection.

Cat, Duck and Bear Limited was created with the long term aim of selling environmentally friendly and/or ethically produced products. The final aim will be to have our own range of products created especially for us, under our own brand.

The products we have chosen reflect our environmental and ethical values and are also supplied (and in a lot of cases produced) in Great Britain. These include treeless paper, jute bags, organic health and beauty products, handmade health and beauty products (which contain no artificial ingredients) and good quality baby products.

The WOW toys we sell are PVC free, use no hazardous batteries and use no toxic paint. For these reasons, WOW toys have won a number of awards. Orchard Toys are another manufacturer we chose for many reasons. They are a British based company, who make their both products and packaging using 100% recycled cardboard. Their products have won awards for their excellent educational value.

Like all of our products, the toys we sell have been chosen to reflect the environmental and ethical values of the company. The toys will also help to encourage children’s discovery and learning, role play and exploration, in addition to further developing other key skills such as motor skills.

Wherever possible we recycle all of our packaging, so if your order doesn’t arrive in a shiny new box, it’s because we’ve recycled an old one. In addition to this, we use biodegradable pack fill, which simply dissolves in water. We also try to use small local companies for all our business needs.
